The Cure for Burnout? It's Not What You Think
Zoom
This highly interactive session will cover BURNOUT—physical and emotional exhaustion that leads to a reduced sense of productivity and belief or recognition that one is not supported in their work.
To promote discussion, this session will not be recorded. Members of the general public who pay to attend and need to cancel can receive a refund up to 15 days after the program. Please e-mail GPAArkansas@Gmail.com for instructions.
Registration for this program is free for students and GPA members and $15 for the general public. Students should e-mail GPAArkansas@Gmail.com from their .edu accounts for the promo code.
You can register up to four days before the presentation. Register here: https://grantprofessionals.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1708049&group=
Presenter’s Bio: Jennifer Deering brings more than 15 years experience in proposal development for both federal and foundation grants and has some experience as a fundraiser in higher ed. As someone who has experienced burnout and worked as a career coach, she has a unique philosophy in the underlying causes and cures of "burnout," especially the unique problems associated with the deadline- and dollar-number-driven results expected of grant and fundraising pros.
